So traveling in Thailand = switching modes of transportation again and again and again. From the bungalo in Koh Phangan to our hostel in Krabi, this is how it went. Taxi, taxi, barge, bus, a walk to some random location with our packs under the impression that we were going to the bus (but really we were being taken to some place where they wanted us to buy stuff. It's a common ploy here when it comes to clueless travelers like us. All they need to do is yell loudly in some indiscernible accent and foreigners follow), taxi back to original location where we got on the bus, taxi from bus to The Mansion where we spent the night in Krabi and prepared for the next move to Railay. In the morning we walked down to the dock and took a bomb digs long-tail boat ride to the most epically beautiful shores ever. We decided Railay was a cross between Jurassic Park and those floating foresty things from Avatar in the final battle scene. All in all, pretty damn beautiful.

All the travel stress fell by the wayside when I discovered our bungalow HAMMOCK!!!! |
So finally, we made it to Railay, dumped our bags and set out to take in all the sights.
